The company says the body of science is growing showing that MenaquinGold can play a protective role in nerve health.
Novozymes OneHealth (Copenhagen, Denmark) says it will discuss the latest research showing that its MenaquinGold vitamin K2 ingredient may support nerve health. The company will be on hand at Booth #4652 at the Natural Products Expo West trade show in Anaheim, CA, in March.
According to the company, “In addition to supporting bone and heart health, a growing body of science shows that MenaquinGold can play a protective role in nerve health. Understanding that a range of health conditions can impact the ability of nerves to function properly has led to nutraceutical approaches to supporting nerve health, a relatively new and very interesting category.”
The ingredient has Generally Recognized as Safe status and can be formulated into functional foods. It is non-soy and non-synthetic and is made with a chickpea-based, soy-free fermentation process, the firm says.
At Expo West, the company will also showcase its Pylopass ingredient, a postbiotic that can help reduce the load of Helicobacter pylori in the stomach, and ProbioBrain, a probiotic targeting mental wellness via the gut-brain access and the subject of two placebo-controlled clinical trials.
