PLT Health Solutions Brings Next-Gen Kinexa Joint Longevity Complex to Asia

PLT Health Solutions, Inc. will make its first appearance as an exhibitor at Vitafoods Asia, held September 2–4 in Bangkok, Thailand, where the company plans to present more than 30 clinically supported branded ingredients to Asian brand owners and product developers.¹ The ingredient supplier will use the show, at Stand H6-K58, to introduce its Kinexa Joint Longevity Complex to the Asian market for the first time.

CEO Seth Flowerman said the exhibition reflects the company's international growth strategy relationships with Asian innovation and distribution partners. “Many of PLT’s most important innovation and distribution partners are based in Asia, and we have worked alongside them for many years, so we have had a longtime connection with the region’s health and wellness ecosystem,” stated Flowerman. “What is new is that we are bringing our branded ingredient platform directly to Asian brand owners, with dedicated business development leadership in APAC and China and a growing number of ingredients positioned specifically for key regional markets. We are looking forward to bringing the next generation of innovations to Bangkok and our APAC customers.”

What Is New About Kinexa's Asia Debut?

Kinexa was first introduced in 2016, and the company has continued to develop the ingredient. The next-generation version being shown in Bangkok is supported by a 2025 clinical study. According to a related Nutritional Outlook report on Kinexa's launch, the ingredient combines standardized extracts of haritaki (Terminalia chebula), turmeric (Curcuma longa), and Boswellia serrata.² The randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in 100 adults ages 40–75 with Grade II or III osteoarthritis, dosed for six months with assessments at one, two, four, and six months. Results cited in that study included a 24% improvement in knee strength, a 10% improvement in cartilage thickness, a 60% improvement in joint comfort, and a 49% decrease in joint stiffness, alongside measured changes in cartilage matrix composition and shock-absorbing capacity.

What Else Is in PLT's Joint Health Portfolio?

Also on display will be AprèsFlex 5-Day Joint Support, a Boswellia serrata extract that has been part of multiple clinical studies and positioned for fast-acting joint comfort and cartilage preservation at a low dose. PLT will additionally feature Dynagenix Muscle+Joint Formula, for which a 2025 study reported statistically significant improvements in joint comfort, stiffness, and function within five days at 40 mg/day. The ingredient is described as neutral-tasting and water-soluble, making it suited to beverage applications.

What Other Categories Will PLT Highlight at the Show?

Beyond joint health, the booth will include ingredients for sports nutrition, healthy aging, energy, sleep/stress, and cognitive health. These include RipFACTOR Muscle Accelerator for strength and endurance, Strengthera for strength and mobility in older adults, Serezin for sleep quality, cellflo6 for energy, and Nutricog for cognitive health. The portfolio has multiple ingredients described as beverage-friendly, consistent with PLT's broader push into functional beverage formats. The company has previously highlighted water-soluble, water-dispersible ingredients such as cellflo6 for energy and endurance applications at other industry events, including IFT First 2026.³

Who Is Leading PLT's Push Into the Asian Market?

PLT's presence in Bangkok will be supported by an in-region business development team led by Pritesh Shetty, director of business development, APAC, and Lei Lu, director of business development, China, along with the company's global quality, supply chain, and regulatory functions.

Leading the show team alongside Shetty and Lu will be Steve Fink, PLT's vice president of marketing, who said the company has found a strong audience for its branded, science-backed ingredients across the region.
