The company's latest manufacturing investment and concept portfolio aim to turn a decade of solubility research into commercial-scale supply for brands and ingredient suppliers.

Infusd Nutrition has expanded its U.S. manufacturing footprint and introduced a portfolio of turnkey product concepts, moves the company describes as evidence of its shift from a technology innovator to a full commercial manufacturing partner.1 The company's newly expanded facility, a 60,000-square-foot plant in Geneva, New York, is intended to give ingredient suppliers, contract manufacturers, and consumer brands commercial-scale access to Infusd's liquid ingredient production capabilities as demand for next-generation functional foods, beverages, and dietary supplements grows.

What Capabilities Does the Geneva Facility Add?

According to the announcement, the Geneva site includes integrated quality control, testing, packing, and logistics operations, and is backed by additional manufacturing partners handling powder production and future global expansion. Products coming out of the facility are manufactured under SQF-certified quality systems, with USDA Organic, Kosher, Halal, and NSF Certified for Sport manufacturing options available, positioning the site to serve programs ranging from specialty nutritional products to larger-scale global ingredient applications.

What Technology Underpins the Expansion?

At the center of Infusd's offering is its proprietary mechanical processing technology, which converts fat-soluble and otherwise insoluble ingredients into water-soluble, shelf-stable liquid and powder formats. The company states the process is designed to improve solubility, stability, bioavailability, and sensory performance for ingredients that have historically been difficult to formulate into consumer products because of poor solubility, instability, off-tastes, or processing limitations. Per the release, the platform has already been applied across categories including omega-3 fatty acids, fat-soluble vitamins, botanical extracts, adaptogens, mushrooms, phospholipids, minerals, cognitive-health ingredients, curcumin, and creatine.

Who Is Behind Infusd, and How Did the Company Get Here?

Infusd was founded in Halifax, Nova Scotia, by chemical engineer David Giffin and attorney Jack MacDonald, and the company reports spending nearly a decade developing the technology, beginning with omega-3 applications before broadening to hundreds of ingredients across nutrition, food, and beverage categories. Jack MacDonald, co-founder of Infusd, highlighted the development of the company. “Over the past several years, we have focused on solving formulation challenges that many companies believed simply couldn't be solved,” he explained. “With this significant increase in our large-scale manufacturing capacity, we're able to help more customers move rapidly from concept development to full-scale production while preserving ingredient integrity and creating products consumers genuinely enjoy.”

“We’re thrilled to have begun servicing industry leading brands out of our new Geneva facility” MacDonald added. “Since our launch, Infusd has been obsessed with the idea of creating high performance products at scale – not just on the bench. Our new state-of-the-art facility gives our partners confidence that we can meet the incredible demand coming our way, both now and for years to come.”

What Products Make Up the Turnkey Concept Portfolio?

To illustrate the platform's commercial readiness, the company unveiled several turnkey concepts rather than finished consumer brands, including:

  • A Clean Energy Sachet built around lion's mane, cordyceps, citicoline, L-theanine, natural caffeine, and vitamins D3 and B
  • A Sleep Shot combining glycine, magnesium bisglycinate, ashwagandha, chamomile, passionflower, and Herbatonin
  • Magnesium bisglycinate gummies
  • A Calm & Clean Energy ready-to-drink beverage

How Does the Symrise Partnership Fit Into This Launch?

That ready-to-drink concept was developed together with flavor and nutrition company Symrise, a collaboration that builds on a partnership the two companies announced in 2025.² Under that earlier agreement, Symrise said it would introduce an active-living portfolio through its Taste, Nutrition & Health division featuring Infusd-enabled water-soluble ingredients, including omega-3s, intended to let manufacturers incorporate typically fat-soluble ingredients into finished products at efficacious levels. At the time, Symrise's Yannick Leen, senior director of the health business unit for North America, said the arrangement was meant to give customers access to premium active ingredients while meeting demand for clean-label, functional products.
