OptiBiotix launches fiber-rich gummy snacks

OptiBiotix Health PLC launches SnackSmart Fruit & Fibre gummies, which is the first consumer-facing product in the company’s online store to contain the functional fiber and mineral blend, WellBiome, which promotes a healthy gut via a blend of non-digestible prebiotics and dietary fiber, glucomannan, and chromium.

“Snacking healthily, while getting plenty of fiber, has never been so easy with the latest launch for our SnackSmart brand. Formulated with our science-backed ingredient WellBiome, one serving of the gummies provides 17.5% (6 g) of an individual’s recommended intake of fiber per day,” said Steven Riley, director of marketing and consumer sales at OptiBiotix, in a press release. “This is based on U.K. government recommendations of 30 g per day for adults. At only 42 calories per pack, they are perfect for snacking on the go.”

The vegan-friendly snacks come in apple and strawberry flavored gummies, with seven gummies per serving, perfect for on-the-go. “With no added sugar or sweeteners, the gummies offer consumers an easy and convenient choice to complement their daily diet routine with a high-fiber, healthy snack,” Riley said. “A diet rich in fiber can help support normal blood pressure and cholesterol levels, potentially reducing known risk factors of cardiovascular disease. Since the gummies contain WellBiome, which is naturally high in prebiotic fibers, they also help to maintain a healthy digestive system and support regular bowel habits, alongside sustaining blood glucose levels.”
