Following its acquisition by Balchem Human Nutrition & Health, vitamin K2 supplier Kappa Bioscience (Oslo, Norway) will be an exhibitor at the Vitafoods Europe trade show taking place in Geneva, Switzerland, on May 9-12, at Booth J80. The company will demonstrate its synergies with other ingredients in Balchem’s portfolio.

For instance, Kappa will highlight how its K2Vital Delta double-encapsulated vitamin K2 MK-7 ingredient can pair with Balchem’s Albion Minerals organic mineral amino acid chelates to create opportunities in cardiovascular and bone health. The company touts K2Vital Delta as “the world’s only patented microencapsulated vitamin K2 preparation, which is optimally stable [and] supported in over 400 tests for mineral formulations.”

Other flagship ingredients from Balchem that will be on display at Vitafoods are OptiMSM methylsufonylmethane for joint health, beauty-from-within, and exercise recovery; and VitaCholine, a choline ingredient supporting brain function, normal lipid and homocysteine metabolism, liver function, and prenatal and infant health.
