Nexira (Rouen, France) will introduce a new weight-management product at November’s SupplySide West trade show in Las Vegas. The ingredient is called Okralin and works by binding fat, the company says.
The patented formulation is based on a vegetal source, the company says. “This vegetal [source], not commonly used in weight-loss products, makes Okralin completely new,” the firm said in a press release. “It is safe and suitable for vegetarians.”
The company says Okralin is supported by a clinical study and that the company plans to reveal the study results during SupplySide West. According to the firm, the results include 1) significant weight loss and body fat mass reduction, 2) “impressive” body shape improvement-specifically, reduction in waist and hip circumference, and 3) a reduction in the absorption of calories.
Nexira will host a conference to present the new ingredient on November 8 at 11:00 A.M. at booth #1081
