Agreement announced between NutriLeads and Yasham Specialty Ingredients to introduce Benicaros in India

In a May 13, 2025, press release, NutriLeads announced a sales and marketing agreement with Yasham Specialty Ingredients Pvt. Ltd. The new agreement will support the representation of NutriLeads’ plant-based prebiotic Benicaros to various manufacturers in India, including food, beverage, and dietary supplements.

The prebiotic is made from upcycled carrot pomace and is intended to support immunity and gut health by modulating the gut microbiome, regardless of an individual’s gut microbiome ecosystem. A recently published study examined the effects of Benicaros and stated it promoted tryptophan conversion into indole-3-propionic acid (IPA).
