Culturelle, the leading global probiotics brand, says this is the company’s first product to target metabolic health and weight management.
An ADM (Chicago) probiotic strain clinically shown to support metabolic health and weight management has been selected by i-Health Inc. as the ingredient for its new Culturelle Metabolism + Weight Management dietary supplement. Culturelle is the top-selling probiotic brand globally.
ADM says its proprietary BPL1 ingredient, a Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis BPL1 (CECT 8145) strain, has been shown in preclinical and clinical studies to impact biomarkers related to metabolic health.
Eric Bianco, brand lead, North America, Culturelle, says this product is the brand’s first to target metabolic health and weight management. The product will be sold on Amazon.com, Target.com, and through such retailers as CVS and Rite Aid.
