A New Partnership on the Horizon
SolvEat, a FoodTech startup, recently announced in a
The new products will be made under Gat Foods, a subsidiary of CBC, and will establish a new product line of soft drinks that will adhere to a variety of wellness and other health categories. These topics will include blood sugar control, metabolic support, and utilizing SolvEat’s “naturally derived” botanical formulations.1 The manufacturing and commercialization of these products will be handled by CBC and SolvEat will have access to the global customer network from Gat Food. Research and development will be managed in SolvEat’s facilities and will collaborate with the CORE, which is CBC Group’s Open Innovation Center, and with Sheba Medical Center clinicians.
“As a leading beverage provider with decades of industry experience, we're committed to pioneering innovative products that align with modern trends and consumers’ wellness priorities,” states Yoram Sagy, CBC’s president.1 “We’re delighted to partner with SolvEat to elevate soft drinks into functional beverages that are not only refreshing but also a daily source of wellbeing and vitality.”
Supplement Solutions
SolvEat utilizes a phyto-delivery platform to integrate clinically validated herbal compositions into a variety of foods, such as cereals, soft drinks, chocolates, snack bars, and more without changing the “sensory joy of indulging.”1
“Botanicals naturally bring bold flavors with bitter undertones which makes infusing them into food and drink challenging,” explains Zacki Nudelman, PhD, Co-founder, CBO, and Scientific Affairs Officer for SolvEat.1 “We apply a proprietary multi-ingredients microencapsulation technology that not only effectively masks any bitterness but also is heat resistant, preserving the functional compounds, maintaining their bioactivity, and allowing controlled release. Unique to SolvEat’s microencapsulation technology is that it can enclose a complete herbal composition made up of several botanicals versus the standard encapsulation of a single ingredient.”
The ingredients from SolvEat’s are compatible with “a broad spectrum of liquid and solid food applications.”
Botanical Pilot Sales for New Formula
SolvEat’s recently created a functional composition that may help provide benefits for balancing blood sugar. Per the company’s press release, the product is undergoing clinical review through a leading health organization and will begin pilot sales in the beginning of 2026.1
In December 2023, SolvEat unveiled chocolate bar prototype and shared it with consumers at the November 2023 Fi Europe trade show that took place in Frankfurt, Germany.2
“We are grateful for the opportunity to team up with such an influential player in the global beverage arena,” declares Udi Peretz, CEO and Co-founder of SolvEat.1 “Our shared vision is to introduce a new generation of soft drinks that are as delightfully quenching as this category is meant to be, yet with unique wellness value. We will create a line of still beverages that not only address metabolic issues but deliver wellness benefits within an enjoyable consumer experience.”
SolvEat will be attending FoodTech Congress which will be taking place in Barcelona, Spain, between November 4th to November 5th, 2025. Attendees will be able to learn more about the company’s technology innovations, capabilities, and try some samples of their botanical-infused chocolate that has potential to support blood sugar balancing.
