At this year’s SupplySide West, Sabinsa (East Windsor, NJ) will highlight several new branded ingredients in addition to its mainstays, as well as showcase its latest book, Ashwagandha – The Antiaging and Neuroprotective Adaptogen, by Muhammed Majeed, PhD, founder and chairman of Sabinsa. The new book details the up-to-date scientific evidence on ashwagandha extracts and the company’s efforts in bringing to market its USP standardized extract Shagandha.

The company’s new ingredients include Sabroxy, a brain and neuronal health ingredient; LivLonga, for healthy liver support function, a blend of three scientifically validated ingredients Curcumin C3 Complex, Livinol, and the bioavailability enhancer BioPerine; CurCousin, a self-affirmed GRAS ingredient containing Calebin-A, a curcumin analog for healthy metabolism; Ptersol for blood sugar support; Starmeric, a resistant starch isolate from turmeric; Nigellin, black cumin seed extract containing thymoquinone; Lactosporin a postbiotic for skin and hair health; and Olepent a peptide for skin firming and repair.

“Dr. Majeed pioneered the concept of standardization of extracts in the nutraceutical industry and has always elucidated its importance,” said Asha Ramesh, CEO, Sabinsa USA, in a press release. “We are pleased to be introducing Sabinsa’s latest innovations and very much look forward to discussing our exciting new ingredients with our customers at the SupplySide West show.”
