NP Nutra (Nature’s Power Nutraceuticals; Gardena, CA) says that the company’s Triple-T Verification quality-control program, first unveiled at last year’s SupplySide West show, has contributed to the “exceptionally” strong business growth the company saw this year. The company reports that its revenue for 2018 will be upwards of 35% over its revenue in 2017.
The Triple-T Verification program is now applied to all of the company’s manufacturing partners. This strict vendor-qualification program was designed by the company’s quality assurance and sourcing departments and took more than five years of research to develop, the firm says. The process includes document verification, product testing, and facility audits.
Mark Campbell, the company’s COO, spoke about the program’s contributions to the company’s success this year. “This unprecedented growth is attributed in part to our Triple-T Verification program,” he said in a press release. “This program, combined with the fact that our sales team is working more closely with valued clients to match our products to their needs, has led to an increase in the average number of SKUs sold to each customer.” Part of this is due to the fact the customers know they are buying premium-quality ingredients that are sustainably sourced and processed at certified Global Food Safety Initiative facilities, he said.
“Our executive team is very happy with these results and excited for the company’s future,” said Thomas Walton, the company’s founder and CEO, in the press release. “Over the past year, we have taken necessary steps to prepare for this expansion by carefully evaluating our needs and hiring additional top-level staff. While we don’t anticipate the current level of growth year-over-year, we are confident of continued growth in 2019 and beyond.”
