Lonza’s new sports probiotic ingredient launched in first U.S. product

Kaged Muscle (Huntington Beach, CA) has launched the first U.S. product featuring Lonza’s (Basel, Switzerland) new TWK10 sports probiotic strain. Derived from naturally fermented Taiwanese kimchi, TWK10 is a Lactobacillus plantarum strain that has been clinically shown to increase exercise endurance by up to 75%.¹

The new Kaged Muscle product, Pro-biotic Premium Performance, is marketed to enhance endurance, reduce fatigue, and promote gut health. Its delivery system is Lonza’s Capsugel DRcaps capsules, which offer a modified-release profile especially beneficial for probiotic ingredients.
