Layn to showcase botanical extracts and host education session at SupplySide West 2024

Layn Natural Ingredients (Irvine, CA) will be at SupplySide West 2024 in Las Vega, NV on October 30-31 to showcase a range of botanical ingredients. According to the company's press release, these ingredients include:
- SophorOx – An ingredient that is clinically demonstrated to reduce oxidative stress, support weight management, and support energy and stamina.
- Leafanine – A premium 98% L-theanine sourced entirely from Camellia sinensis (green tea)
- Bio+ Line – A range of trending ingredients known for their bioavailability and health benefits, including:

- Bio+Resveratrol
- Lipid-soluble tea polyphenols
- Tea and other key botanical ingredients, including:

The company’s chief science officer, James Roza, will also be leading an exclusive breakfast brief on Wednesday, October 30 from 9-10AM on the lower level of the South Pacific Ballroom B, where he will present a presentation called: “Oxidative Stress Reduction Using Novel Polyphenolic Compounds to Improve Health and Well-Being.” During this presentation, Roza will delve into the role of polyphenols for mitigating oxidative stress and promoting a healthier lifespan. FDA revokes authorization to use Red No. 3 as a color additive in food or drugs
January 15th 2025FDA contends that the color additive is safe for humans but is legally obligated by the Delaney Clause of the FD&C act to revoke authorization as research shows the Red No. 3 induces cancer in rats.
