Lallemand Health Solutions (Toulouse, France) will share its probiotic portfolio at the Vitafoods Europe trade show taking place in Geneva, Switzerland, on May 9-12 (Booth F40).
Among other ingredients, the company will highlight what it’s positioned as the first and only organic version of the probiotic yeast Saccharomyces boulardii. Women’s health is also a focus, and the company says it offers many probiotic solutions that can address a women’s lifespan, from puberty to menopause.
Finally, the firm will highlight its probiotic solutions for mental health, such as its documented probiotic strain L. rhamnosus HA-114, which has shown benefits for eating behaviors, mental health, metabolic profile, and for overweight individuals.
The company will also unveil new delivery innovations for probiotics, including a mint-flavored dissolvable lozenge aimed at the oral health market. It can include any of the company’s probiotic ingredients for oral health that address teeth, gum, and breath health. The company will also share results from a new in vitro study on halitosis.
Finally, the firm will share its probiotics for food and beverage applications, including spore-forming bacteria and microencapsulated lactobacilli and bifidobacterium strains.
