Ingredients supplier Kalsec Inc. (Kalamazoo, MI) has opened a new finishing and distribution center in Singapore. The new facility expands the company’s services in Asia Pacific as it supplies food ingredients like natural flavor, natural color, and natural food-protection ingredients.
“The new facility will have a positive impact for our customers, including faster response times and order fulfillment, especially with products in high demand in the region,” said Kathleen Koh, vice president and managing director of Kalsec Asia, in a press release.
The company’s ingredients include natural taste and sensory ingredients, including herb and spice extracts, culinary alliums, and natural hot and spicy ingredients; natural colors that are heat and light stable; natural ingredients that act as antioxidant and antimicrobial protectors for food; and natural hops ingredients for brewers.
