Two more presentations announced in the CONVERGENCE ’24 keynote speaker lineup.
The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN; Washington, D.C.) recently announced additional speakers at this year’s CONVERGENCE ’24, taking place October 9–11, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the Grand America Hotel. As previously announced, the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Deputy Commissioner for Human Foods, Jim Jones will be presenting the opening keynote.
In a press release dated September 3, 2024, CRN revealed more topics that will be discussed at this year’s event. On October 10, a panel including Jim Flatt, co-founder and CEO of Brightseed; Akash Shah, co-founder and CEO of IngredientAI; and others will present, “Applying AI Technologies to the Dietary Supplement Industry,” which will discuss the capabilities of AI in the industry, covering how it has created innovations in bioactive compounds in supplements, personalized nutrition, and other applications.
On October 11, Cara Welch, PhD, director of FDA’s Office of Dietary Supplement Programs, and others will present, “DSHEA—what’s working, what’s not, and how to fix it,” discussing possible regulatory and legislative changes to the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA).
Other keynote speakers include Noelle Russell, Founder and Chief AI Officer of AI Leadership Institute and Chris Cillizza, former CNN Politics reporter.
