Alvinesa Natural Ingredients names new CEO

The Spanish company upcycles raw material left over from the production of wine and olive oil, turning those byproducts into ingredients for food, beverages, nutraceuticals, animal health, and more.

Alvinesa Natural Ingredients (Daimiel, Spain), a supplier of sustainable plant-based ingredients, has named a new CEO. Jon Fernández De Barrena will now lead the company.

The Spanish company upcycles raw material left over from the production of wine and olive oil, turning those byproducts into ingredients for food, beverages, nutraceuticals, animal health, and more. Its portfolio includes a wide range of natural antioxidant ingredients, such as grape and olive extracts rich in polyphenols, as well as natural colors from anthocyanins, wine concentrates, natural tartaric acid, and grape seed oil.

“Under Jon’s guidance, we are excited to further enhance our capabilities and expand our global footprint,” the company’s press release states. “His strategic vision aligns perfectly with our values, and we are confident that his leadership will reinforce our position as a trusted provider of natural ingredients."
