AIDP will showcase MycoPure functional mushrooms and gut-brain beverage concept featuring Magtein and PreticX.

In a June 24, 2025, press release, AIDP announced it will be highlighting its line of functional mushrooms as well as a gut-brain beverage concept at IFT First, taking place July 13-16 in Chicago. AIDP will be present at Booth S3035 at the event.

The North American grown mushrooms presented will be under the MycoPure brand, promoting sustainability and purity. The line will be available in multiple mesh sizes and is able to be incorporated into beverages and functional foods.

Also featured will be a beverage concept aiming to provide support cognitive and digestive health through a blend of clinically-verified Magtein (magnesium l-threonate) and PreticX (XOS prebiotic). A sample of the beverage will be available. An earlier study found that a supplementation of 2.8 grams per day of PreticX significantly increased Bifidobacterium in participants with no increases in Lactobacillus observed1. An increase in Bacteroides fragilis was also seen, suggested to influence the microbiome of overweight individuals.

A 2024 animal study2 found that oral supplementation with Magtein – as magnesium L-threonate (MgT) – effectively elevates brain levels of magnesium to influence cognitive health. Magnesium levels, the researchers had explained, may influence synaptic configuration, increasing the quality and quality of weaker, more adaptive synaptic connections.

Additionally, in December 2024, Magtein earned novel food authorization in the European Union, an authorization exclusive to AIDP3.
