Gordon’s leadership will focus on expanding testing services for dietary supplements and botanical products.
In a September 16, 2024, news release, Alkemist Labs, an ISO 17025 accredited contract testing laboratory, announced the appointment of Reena Gordon as chief operating officer (COO). Located in Garden Grove, California, Alkemist Labs provides services in plant authentication, botanical ingredient identification, quantitative analytical services and contaminant screening for various industries.

As noted in the news release, Reena Gordon, a graduate of Harvard University and the Wharton School of Business, has led operations for several startups. As a senior consultant, she supported dozens of companies, both public and private, to scale regionally and internationally. Gordon also co-authored, “Going Global: Promoting the Internationalization of Small and Mid-Size Enterprises in Latin America and the Caribbean.”
