OptiBiotix debuts WellBiome finished product in the U.S.: 2023 SupplySide West Preview
At last year’s SupplySide West show, the company introduced a reformulated version of its WellBiome prebiotic and trace mineral blend. At this year’s show, the company will offer a WellBiome finished-product formulation.

OptiBiotix Health Plc (Heslington, York, UK) will introduce a WellBiome finished product to the U.S. for the first time at the SupplySide West trade show happening October 23-27, 2023, in Las Vegas, at booth #7449. At last year’s SupplySide West show, the company introduced a reformulated version of its WellBiome prebiotic and trace mineral blend, which supports gut health. At this year’s show, the company will showcase a WellBiome finished-product formulation.
WellBiome combines inulin and xylo-oligosaccharide (OptiXOS) prebiotic fibers and the trace mineral magnesium. Stephen O’Hara, CEO of OptiBiotix, said in a press release, “Its ingredients, which promote gut microbiome diversity and gut barrier integrity by enriching health-positive bacteria, have been backed by the FDA and Health Canada and can claim to support dietary fiber status in the U.S. and Canadian markets. In addition, it can also promote the healthy digestive system claim under Health Canada.”
The finished product is a powdered food supplement that can be mixed into foods like juice, smoothies, shakes, sauces, and soups.
