NutriLeads grows ingredient portfolio with Benicaros F&B launch

NutriLeads recently announced its new Benicaros product line designed for food and beverage applications.¹ The new product, Benicaros F&B, offers clinically-validated support for digestive and immune health in a cost-effective daily serving of one gram per day. According to the press release,¹ this provides product developers with greater flexibility to integrate the product across a range of applications without affecting efficacy, sensory qualities, or clean label appeal.

“Benicaros F&B makes clinically proven immune and gut health benefits more accessible across a wider range of product categories,” said Joana Carneiro-Wakefield, Ph.D., CEO of NutriLeads.¹ “This new format is optimized for food and beverage formulations, providing the versatility developers need to meet the growing demand for health functional consumer products.”

Produced from upcycled carrot pomace, Benicaros F&B is formulation-ready and can be used in applications such as powders, functional beverages, bars, and dairy products.¹ The ingredient is also pH- and heat-stable, and water-soluble.

Recently, NutriLeads announced that the company had introduced a new symbiotic supplement called Enscene Probio 3+, a botanical mixed berries powder drink, into the Malaysian market.² The product includes NutriLeads’ Benicaros prebiotic ingredient.
