NutraShure introduces dual-action ingredient Metabolex for metabolic balance

Ingredient supplier NutraShure announced the launch of its new, patent-pending ingredient Metabolex, intended for metabolic balance, efficient energy use, and a healthy body composition. As explained in the June 17, 2025, press release, Metabolex also supports the processing of nutrients through the activation of the metabolic pathway, AMPK, and others. Also noted was the growth of metabolic health supplement category due to increased use of GLP-1 medications, and the rise in consumer interest in stimulant-free alternatives and focus on blood sugar balance and energy metabolism.

“We are in a GLP-1 era where products for weight management and healthy body composition are exploding as consumers are demanding drug-free alternatives,” stated Brandon Sojka, CEO of NutraShure and co-inventor of Metabolex, in the press release. “Metabolex is a perfect fit for this new generation of formulas with real metabolic balance to support how the body uses nutrients, burns energy, and maintains a healthy composition over time.”

Combining chromium with ursolic acid into a new complex called chromium polyursolate, the dual-action mechanism of Metabolex aims to promote insulin sensitivity and efficient usage of carbohydrates and fats for energy. The low-dose ingredient can be integrated into various delivery format types.

NutraShure also offers ingredients in categories including sports nutrition, men’s health, gut health, and immune health. In December 2024, the company announced that its ingredient BIOMEnd would be included in two dietary supplements supporting gut health. NutraShure is also an ingredient supplier for functional food and beverages.
