NuAxon Bioscience Inc. to unveil new BacoZen research at SupplySide Global 2025

In a recent press release, NuAxon Bioscience Inc., announce that the nutraceutical supplier will be showcasing new research for BacoZen, an ingredient that may help support mood, stress, and sleep, at the upcoming SupplySide Global 2025 conference taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, between October 29 to October 30, 2025.

The mood, stress, and sleep supporting ingredient is derived from a combination of bacopa and ashwagandha extracts. These ingredients have clinically studied for benefits involving sleep improvement, reducing stress, and balancing mood through a low dose of 250 mg, taken twice a day. A 2024 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study was published in the International Journal of Innovative Research in Medical Science. Study organizers utilized data from 64 subjects. Participants were split up into two groups, “Group A received BacoZen™ blend tablets for 4 weeks (Part I), followed by a 1-week washout period and placebo for 4 weeks (Part II). Group B received the interventions in reverse order. Assessments included perceived stress, cortisol, dopamine, sleep parameters, mood, fatigue, anxiety, and withdrawal symptoms.”¹ Results from the clinical study showed that the test group experienced decreases in cortisol levels, dopamine level improvement, reduced perceived stress (31%, 32.46%), improvements with mood, fatigue, anxiety, and sleep quality, when compared to the placebo group.¹ Researchers concluded that “BacoZen blend tablets containing herbal extracts Ashwagandha and Brahmi demonstrated robust and reproducible therapeutic effects in managing stress and anxiety, with an excellent safety profile. These promising results substantiate its potential as a safe and effective alternative to conventional interventions.”¹
