At the upcoming SupplySide West (SSW), taking place on November 2 and 3 in Las Vegas, NV, Ingredient Optimized is showcasing its patented technology, ioProtein, and the three protein ingredients featuring this technology. According to the company, ioProteinis backed by 10 clinical studies to raise blood levels of essential amino acids (EAA), branched chain amino acids (BCAA), and leucine three to five times more than unaltered protein, while also reducing GI discomfort.
The three branded ingredients featuring ioProtein, include ioWhey, ioPea, and ioBCAA. According to Ingredient Optimized, ioWhey’s superior absorption leads to increases in EAA, BCAA, and leucine absorption by 123%, 111%, and 103%, respectively. The product has also been clinically studied foroptimized performance, shown to support lean body mass, exercise recovery, and the reduction of body fat, says the company. Its plant-based ioPea ingredient, says Ingredient Optimized, has been clinically studied to deliver substantiated benefits resembling the power of whey, and the ioBCAA ingredient has been demonstrated to be more bioavailable than standard BCAAs.
