Greenvit launches Aronvit, a clean-label aronia berry extract, in the US and will showcase the ingredient at SupplySide Global 2025.

In a recent press release, Greenvit Sp. X o.o., a botanical nutraceuticals innovator, disclosed the launch of their top selling product called Aronvit to the US marketplace. Aronvit is a clean label, standardized aronia berries (Aronia melanocarpa) extract. A recent pilot randomized human study explored Aronvit’s role with metabolic health. Interest is growing in the US for aronia berries, the press release mentions and additionally noted that Poland is a “leading cultivator” or the dark purple berries.

Greenvit recently opened a new headquarters office and warehouse in Voorhees, New Jersey.

Aronia has been known as “Polish black gold” and is considered a superfruit due to their nutritional value. It was primarily grown for their high concentration of bioactive compounds and resilience, local communities appreciated the berry for its natural abilities in supporting immunity and vitality.

“The full wellness potential of the aronia berry is still being discovered in the US and around the world,” explains Rafal Pietruszynski, Greenvit CEO, in the press release. “Modern science confirms what people intuitively knew for generations, that aronia is one of the richest sources of natural polyphenols and antioxidants. ARONVIT® is a true super berry extract, combining heritage with science and innovation.”

Aronvit’s Source

Aronvit is produced from a Nero-Eggert variety of aronia berries that were created by Piotr Eggert, who was a well-known specialist in the space of aronia cultivation. With this particular strain of aronia berries, it is known for having a low bush height, which provides easier opportunities to harvest, and also holds high yield capabilities. The plant is naturally disease resistant and may be an option for organic farming. Additionally, the Piotr Eggert varietycontains antioxidant benefits that include potent natural levels of flavonoids and other polyphenols (at 25%), anthocyanins (at 15%), as well as proanthocyanidins (at 10%). Aronia berries are also high in vitamins C, E, and K, along with minerals, such as iron and calcium.

Aronia berries are able to handle extreme temperatures as low as -35°C to the high temperatures experienced during summer.

Production of Aronvit

To create Aronvit, the aronia berries go through a process involving a proprietary cold water extraction method and their PureGreenLine multi-step membrane filtration process. This form of production does not consist of chemicals or additives and is able to purify raw materials utilizing only water which helps maintain the natural purity of the products produced. Leftover pulp is then upcycled. To remain enivironmentally friendly, Greenvit uses solar energy and a closed-loop water system, which leaves an ultra-low carbon footprint.

“Our long-standing dedication to the cultivation, analysis, and scientific research of ARONVIT® and its wellness benefits has earned it a reference position in the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) as a US monograph for aronia extract. We are an official partner of the USP Donor Recognition Program,” states Pietruszynski.

“Aronia berry is recognized for its high ORAC score as an antioxidant. In fact, it has one of the highest capacities of any berry for absorbing reactive oxygen species (ROS). Over time, ROS have been shown to damage DNA and disrupt cell structure and function, causing inflammation, which, as scientific research indicates, is inherent in metabolic diseases.” explains Pietruszynski. “Studies of ARONVIT® have also demonstrated its positive impact on metabolic health and support of heart health.”

Aronvit will be showcased at this year’s SupplySide Global 2025 event taking place in Las Vegas Nevada, between October 29 to October 30, 2025. Attendees can learn more about the aronia berry extract at Booth #5824.
