The TruShield Certification from Eagle Diagnostics confirms that the products are free from the current list of banned substances. Con-Cret creatine is the latest recipient of this certification.

In an August 20, 2025, press release, specialized testing laboratory Eagle Diagnostics announced that flagship supplement products from the brand Con-Crēt from Vireo had earned TruShield Certification. The certification indicates that the select creatine and performance supplements are free from the current and relevant list of banned substances.

In April, Eagle Diagnostics had launched the certification program for dietary supplements and functional food and beverages, helping reduce the risk of positive tests for athletes. Based in Utah, the lab has over 20 years of experience testing for established and emerging substances, is ISO 17025 accredited, and is the subsidiary of the testing lab for professional sports leagues and Olympic teams.

“It’s exciting to see sports nutrition brands adopting our certification program,” stated said Lori Bestervelt, senior vice president of certification services, in the press release. “In just a short time, our TruShield has gained so much momentum, and we are adding products weekly that have passed testing.”

As noted in the press release, creatine is an essential amino acid derivative that supports muscle building and the immune system.

“We have always been committed to delivering the cleanest, most effective creatine and performance supplements,” added Mark Faulkner CEO and founder at Vireo. “Having the TruShield Certification reinforces our commitment by giving athletes and fitness enthusiasts confidence and transparency that our products are certified free from banned substances.”
