Doug Lynch Named Commercial Sales Lead for Ingredients By Nature

Ingredients By Nature (IBN) announced in a recent press release that the company has named Doug Lynch, CEO and Founder of Marketwell Nutrition Inc., as their Commercial Sales Lead.

With this new position, Doug will be managing key business areas for Ingredients By Nature, which will include areas such as marketing, sales, business development, as well as continuing to grow the company’s property portfolio. Doug’s is a veteran in the industry and founded Marketwell Nutrition in 2015.

Through obtaining the partnership with Marketwell Nutrition and Doug, will manage the Eriomin brand, while also working toward expanding Ingredients By Natures’ presence in the human nutrition sector. Additionally, Doug will investigate and obtain novel, clinically backed ingredients and technologies from university pipelines, and can begin working on the building blocks to bring the company into other markets, such as diagnostic testing and finished product medical foods. With these plans, it may help strengthen Ingredients by Nature’s businesses involving dietary supplements, pets, and functional foods.

Ingredients By Nature’s Eriomin Lemon Flavonoid Receives Self-Affirmed GRAS Status

Ingredients by Nature (IBN; Montclair, CA) announced in 2022, the self-affirmed GRAS (generally recognized as safe) status of Eriomin, a high potency standardized extract of lemon-based flavonoids. This is the result of a comprehensive GRAS profile, including scientific safety review and analysis, compiled with the assistance of GRAS Associates, a fully owned subsidiary of Nutrasource, (Guelph, Ontario, Canada).
