Collagen supplementation can now be as fun as it is beneficial! Supplement products brand Reserveage Nutrition has rolled out a brand-new delivery format for its collagen line: Collagen Candy. Collagen Candy is a “powdered treat” that dissolves on the user’s tongue and can be taken without water, the brand says. According to the company, the product “will remind you of your favorite childhood candy.”
Each serving of Collagen Candy features 2.5 g of Gelita’s Verisol collagen peptides, which have been clinically shown to increase pro-collagen production by 65%, to improve skin smoothness, to maintain skin elasticity and increase elastin production by 18%, to support healthy nails, and to reduce the volume of eye wrinkles by 20% within eight weeks, says Reserveage. Collagen Candy also contains hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. Each serving of Collagen Candy comes in a stick pack. The product is free of sugar, gluten, and dairy; is friendly to paleo and keto diets; and contains 10 calories. It is available in flavors of sour apple and cucumber watermelon.
According to Reserveage, this product is designed to be ever easier for consumers to take because it does not even need to be taken with water. In a press release, Yamit Sadok, part of the Reserveage product team, commented: “Our research shows that not only are women experiencing pill fatigue, but they are also feeling drink fatigued with so many nutritional powders requiring mixing into a beverage. That’s the beauty of Collagen Candy. You can get a full serving of highly absorbable collagen that’s convenient, fun, and delicious.”
The product is now sold at Vitamin Shoppe and at health food stores nationwide, as well as on Amazon.com and on Reserveage’s website.
