Cannabinoid products manufacturer Open Book Extracts (Roxboro, NC) announced two positive developments for the company: obtaining NSF/455-2 certification and installing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to enhance efficiency and productivity.

The NSF/455-2 certification verifies a facility’s good manufacturing practices. Open Book Extracts also holds USDA Organic and kosher certification.

Meanwhile, the ERP system Open Book Extracts installed, from Acumatica, will enhance operations, helping “integrate and consolidate all company departments into a single solution” and leading to “better workflow, higher profitability, reduced costs, superior customer service, improved inventory turns, and visibility into the entire enterprise,” the company said in a press release.

Open Book Extracts’ 76,000-sq-ft research and production facility is located near Durham, NC. The company manufactures cannabinoids such as CBD, CBN, CBC, CBG, CBGa, CBT, CBDa, CBDv, and THCv.
