Armada Nutrition (Springhill, TN) is broadening its operation capacity with a new 438,000-square-foot nutraceutical facility in Utah. It will be, together with Armada’s Tennessee facility, be part of over 750,000 square feet of manufacturing space and will be fully operational in Q2 2022. It will have BRC, NSF, NSF for Sport, and ISO 17025 certifications.
“Our approach with Armada has been to offer the speed, service, and innovation that the industry demands while delivering the quality and safety standard you would expect from a publicly-traded company,” said Armada president Brent Laffey, in a press release.
Further driving Armada’s growth is vertical integration afforded by sister company Prinova. The combined purchasing power of both Nagase Group entities far surpasses any competitors in the nutraceutical contract manufacturing space.
“We’re extremely excited about the Utah facility expansion, and the plans to bring more high-end contract manufacturing capacity to the industry and to our customers,” said Prinova president and CEO Don Thorp, in a press release. “Now more than ever our customers are interested in reliability, safety, and quality in their supply chain, and this new facility will allow us to continue to deliver on that expectation.”
