Arla Foods Ingredients to highlight milk and whey protein ingredients at Fi Europe

In a recent press release, Arla Foods Ingredients, will be showcasing the product portfolio of milk and whey protein ingredients¹ and other new high-protein and beverage concepts at Fi Europe, which is taking place in Paris, France, between December 2 to December 4, 2025.

According to Innova Market Insights, “Top 10 Trends in Dairy & Dairy Alternatives 2025,”² more than 40% of health-conscious consumers are choosing dairy products to increase their intake of protein. More than 30% of consumers are selecting dairy products for “guilt-free snacking.”¹ Lastly, the report found a rising interest for new dairy format innovations that specifically target nutritional needs.

During Fi Europe, Arla Food Ingredients shall show event attendees their milk and why ingredients from their product portfolio. The company’s product offerings can be found at Stand #71G8.¹ Arla Food Ingredients will also display an Innovation Spotlight area that will highlight five new application concepts that combine functional nutrition, novelty, and taste:¹

• A high-protein, transparent yogurt
• A drinking yogurt with hydrolyzed whey protein, offering 25g of protein per serving
• Milky Spark, a carbonated, flavored, milk-like drink made with pure whey protein
• A gluten-free high-protein (27%) cookie with a soft-baked texture and no added sugar
• A high-protein (25%) brownie with an authentic fudgy texture and no added sugar.

At Arla Food Ingredients’ stand, attendees will be able to sample some of their other functional and nutritious foods and beverages concepts, such as a kid’s UHT drink that includes Nutrilac, which is a milk fat globule membrane (MFGM), a drinking yogurt, and a squeezable cheese. MFGMs contain high amounts of complete whey protein. Additionally, MFGM consists of healthy lipids that include vitamin B12, Omega-3 fatty acids, and choline.¹ As mentioned in the press release¹, Arla Food Ingredients had launched a Whey360 campaign that showcased MFGM’s multinutrient benefits for functional foods throughout all life stages.

Australian Approval Granted to Arla Foods Ingredients MFGM Ingredient For Use in Infant Formula Products

Arla Foods Ingredients announced in a July 2025 press release³, that its milk fat globule membrane (MFGM) ingredient has been approved in Australia to be used in infant formula products and that the company has obtained exclusive commercialization rights.

“We’re proud to have pioneered the use of MFGM in infant nutrition, which has allowed significant improvements in the creation of scientifically backed formula products,” said Jakob Madsen Pedersen, senior director, specialized nutrition at Arla Foods Ingredients.¹ “Following the recent positive decision about Lacprodan MFGM-10 in the EU, this is another highly welcome regulatory development. We’re delighted that its many clinically supported benefits for infants are now also available in Australia.”
