American River Nutrition joins Everwell Health in recent acquisition

Everwell Health announced in a recent press release that the organization had acquired American River Nutrition (ARN) from Designs for Health.¹ ARN will bring manufacturing technologies, as well as annatto-based extract ingredients to Everwell Health's functional ingredient platform. Acquired ingredients include DeltaGold, atocopherol-free source of tocotrienols which offers antioxidant benefts, and GG-Gold, a nutrient that decreases with age and helps with protein synthesis, as well as with the production of MK4, progesterone, testosterone, and CoQ10.¹ DuoQuinol was not included in the acquisition and will continue to be a part of Designs for Health. The manufacturing site located in Hadley, Massachusetts, will remain operational and further investments will be made by Everwell Health.

At the state-of-the-art Hadley manufacturing facility, ARN utilized a unique distillation process which didn’t rely on harsh chemicals or solvents to isolate and concentrate key bioactive compounds. The location also includes an in-house lab used for research and development, quality control, and analytical analysis.¹

As mentioned in the press release¹, “all commercial and manufacturing operations will continue without interruption.” ARN will now be running under the name American River Nutrition, an Everwell Health Company throughout the rest of 2025 before being integrated into Everwell Health’s brand portfolio. Supply chain partners and customers of ARN will be able to take advantage of Everwell Health’s expertise.
