VIKPro has achieved IKOS (International Krill Oil Standards) product certification for its branded Antarctic Krill Oil, according to an announcement from SGS Nutrasource Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical Services Inc. (Guelph, ON, Canada). The only third-party testing and product certification program exclusively for krill oil, IKOS is a voluntary and subscription-based services that tests and verifies products by lot, through direct analysis, for omega-3, astaxanthin and phospholipid content, as well as environmental contaminants and freshness.
