According to UAS Laboratories, the company stood out to F&S because of its focus on R&D and quality control of probiotics, as well as its line of five condition-specific products for irritable bowel syndrome, atopic dermatitis, digestive and immune health, and urinary tract health for women.
“In the crowded probiotics market, where multiple manufacturers offer different products with generic health claims, growth is driven by specific validated claims for your products, with strong marketing support,” said an F&S senior research analyst.
“Condition-specific product formulation requires intensive effort in identifying candidate strains, means of application, formulation for stability and efficacy, and finally, cost effectiveness.”
