Live from the conference, we asked Joel Melillo, vice president, sales and marketing for Horphag Research, about how the company is approaching sustainability in active nutrition.
Joel Melillo: Hi, I'm Joel Melillo, vice president, sales and marketing for Horphag Research in North America. So we're a raw material supplier and researcher of our main ingredient was Pycnogenol, French maritime pine bark extract, which comes from the largest forest in southwest France, and by by nature, it's a sustainable process. Every time a tree is harvested, trees are planted, and the Pycnogenol pine bark extract is a byproduct of the process, so 100% sustainable.
