SupplySide West Preview: Banana Flakes and More

Ecuadorian Rainforest LLC, a supplier of all-natural ingredients, will be distributing samples of delicious and nutritious banana flakes at SupplySide West. The company says that the 100%-natural banana flakes make the perfect finished product or addition to a product formulation, including cereals and granola. In addition to potassium, bananas are a good source of iron and a protein type that can be converted into serotonin, a hormone known to be an anti-stressor.

At its booth, the company will also display other botanicals from South America, such as acai, acerola, camu camu, cat’s claw, dragon’s blood, maca, maqui, yucca, yacon and more. The company also offers all-natural vegetable powders, including beetroot juice, which has been studied and shown to boost stamina.
