A recently published, double-blind, placebo-controlled study revealed that Peak ATP, a branded adenosine 5'-triphosphateingredient, reduces muscle fatigue and maintains greater muscle strength during repeated sets. (Read more on this study here.) The company says that both current and ongoing Peak ATPresearch shows that extracellular ATP and adenosine concentrations are positively linked with increases in active tissue vasodilation, which in turn increases blood flow, tissue oxygenation, metabolic waste removal, and nutrient uptake, and promotes cellular recovery. Extracellular ATP and adenosine concentrations may also increase muscle action potential amplitude (muscle force output, including strength and power).
