Suannutra and Myota announce prebiotic solutions distribution partnership

In a recent press release, Suannutra and Myota, announced that the two companies would be partnering by entering into a distribution agreement for prebiotic fiber blends.

Suannutra announced in a recent press release1 that the organization has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Myota where they will launch prebiotic fiber blends which include Myota's flagship ingredient Metabolic Regulator, throughout the US, UK, and EU, not including Germany and Austria.

Myota’s portfolio lineup includes a patented blend of nine plant-based fibers that encourage the production of short-fatty acids (SCFAs) “through targeted fermentation by gut microbiota.”1 Metabolaid, a flagship ingredient by Suannutra helps assist SCFA generation with microbiome modulation. According to the press release1, SCFAs may have an important role in GLP-1 stimulation as well. Metabolaid also “activates” the AMPK pathway which supports a healthy lipid metabolism and also blood pressure levels.1 With both of these ingredients, they help offer a “multi-pathway approach” for balancing metabolic health.

Studies including MIT research and third-party clinical trials that were conducted with Metabolic Regulator have shown that the low-FODMAP prebiotic fiber blend may assist with decreasing postprandial spikes with glucose, healthy blood sugar levels, and consistency with keeping cholesterol levels in a normal range.1,2

“This partnership enhances our portfolio with targeted microbiome-nourishing solutions, providing next-gen support for cardiometabolic wellness,” said Anthony Weston, CEO of Suannutra.1 “By combining Metabolaid's support of key metabolic pathways with Myota's microbiome-driven prebiotic approach, we're delivering a complementary dual-action approach to today's metabolic health needs.”

“We see immense value in pairing our fermentation-optimized prebiotics with Suannutra's clinically vetted actives. Together, we are shifting the paradigm from generic gut health to precision-formulated, systemic wellness,” commented Thomas Gurry, PhD, CEO of Myota.1

Suannutra will be at Vitafoods Europe 2025 taking place between May 20-22, 2025, in Barcelona, Spain. Attendees interested in learning more about the company’s immune and digestive health blends, as well as custom blends and formulation support, can visit Booth #3K22 for more information.
