Study Shows Beneo Prebiotic Effect in Newborn Babies
A new study has shown that supplementing infant formula with Beneo’s Orafti Synergy1 oligofructose-enriched inulin has a prebiotic effect and is well tolerated by babies.

A new study has shown that supplementing infant formula with Beneo’s Orafti Synergy1 oligofructose-enriched inulin has a prebiotic effect and is well tolerated by babies. The study showed that addition of Orafti Synergy1 to infant formulae for neonates modifies the microflora composition by increasing bifidobacteria, resulting in a flora composition that resembles that of breast-fed babies.
