A brand-name shilajit ingredient called PrimaVie is now organic certified. Supplier Natreon (New Brunswick, NJ) says PrimaVie is now the “first and only clinically backed organic shilajit available on the market.”
Shilajit is an Ayurvedic ingredient rich in fulvic acid, urolithins (especially urolithin B), and 40 other micro-minerals. The ingredient, which is a sticky, tarlike substance, is said to promote sports performance, energy, and healthy aging. Natreon says PrimaVie is backed by eight clinical studies, including those on energy, endurance, and healthy aging.
The company says PrimaVie is sourced from distinct biological ecosystems (biomes) and is processed via water extraction using Green Chemistry Principles. The company says its goal is to supply clean-label, organic botanical ingredients.
