Sabinsa Biotech Company (Nanjng, China) has won the 2023 Technology Innovation Award at the 3rd Food Formula Innovation Show for its ingredient, LactoSpore, according to a press release. The company states that out of the 150 technologies and projects presented at the show, Sabinsa Nanjing was one of 20 to be recognized and awarded.
“The market for LactoSpore is growing exponentially as it has become a preferred probiotic for many functional food manufacturers globally due to its natural mechanism of being stable even in adverse environmental conditions and retaining its functionality in various functional foods,” said Muhammed Majeed, PhD, founder and chairman of Sami-Sabinsa Group, in a statement.
According to the press release, the criteria on which the innovations at the show were evaluated include: “degree of innovation, cost optimization, market value, and customer benefits.”
