Ross introduces more versatile mixer / reactors
The mixer/reactor is especially designed to suit temperature-critical formulations of medium to high viscosity under stringent vacuum/pressure constraints.
Specialty mixing equipment specialist Charles Ross & Son Co. (Hauppauge, NY) has introduced what it says is a more versatile mixer/reactor that is especially designed to suit temperature-critical formulations of medium to high viscosity under stringent vacuum/pressure constraints.
The Model VMC VersaMix mixer/reactor is a multi-purpose, triple-shaft mixer/reactor designed for up to 350°F from 29.5”Hg vaccuum to 8-psig internal pressure. It is equipped with a three-wing anchor and two disperser shafts and can handle intense mixing, high-speed dissolution, emulsification, de-agglomeration, and superior heat transfer in pastes, slurries, gels, and suspensions up to several hundred thousand centipoise.
