PureCircle Stevia Now in Italian Tabletop Sweetener
Merisant, a global leader in artificial sweeteners, has launched Misura Stevia tabletop sweetener in Italy.
PureCircle’s London office reports that Merisant (Chicago), a global leader in the manufacture of artificial sweeteners, has launched Misura Stevia tabletop sweetener for Italy.
Merisant’s low-calorie sweetener portfolio also includes Equal, Canderel, and PureVia. Misura stevia marks the company’s first sweetener of natural origin under the Misura brand. The company has already launched tabletop stevia in the United States, Mexico, France, and Australia.
“Stevia helps us expand our Misura portfolio of low-calorie sweeteners for consumers that are looking for more natural sweetener options,” said Hugues Pitre, vice president and managing director for North America, Europe, and the Middle East at Merisant. “We are happy to carry the Stevia PureCircle trust mark and support the vital work of the Global Stevia Institute, which in the new European market will support consumer awareness about the benefits of high quality stevia and its great taste in Misura Stevia.”
Misura Stevia will be available in sticks, jars, tablets, and cubes at major retail chains in Italy this month.
