Pet Care Line Adds Neem Oil Products

Organix-South has added four products-two bar soaps, an herbal outdoor spray, and a skin-soothing spray-to its TheraNeem pet care line, whose star ingredient is organic neem oil. Neem oil is extracted from the fruits and seeds of the neem plant(Azadirachta indica). The company says that neem oil offers high antioxidant content and is a natural solution for environmental stress, soothing chronic skin irritation, and promoting a healthy response to minor inflammation.

“Neem offers a powerful solution for pet companions-whether it is used at bath time for a clean, shiny coat, or to ward off pests like fleas and ticks or as a soothing and cooling antidote for agitated skin,” it says. The company mentions that the supercritical neem extract provide concentrated, therapeutic benefits especially for dry, itchy, or irritated skin.
