Key Takeaways

  • SupplySide Global plans center on reframing digestive-health claims from microbiome composition toward function, including transit, barrier integrity, signaling, and microbiome engagement, to better align with consumer-perceived end benefits.
  • Digexin is positioned as a proprietary okra–ashwagandha extract for comfortable, predictable regularity at low dose without added fiber or live microbes, supported by additional human research.

The company will introduce its Digestive Performance platform, a "Know Your Go" campaign, and a GLP-1 digestive-support offering at Booth 7015.

Ingredient supplier NXT USA announced on September 29, 2026, that it will exhibit at SupplySide Global 2026, held October 28–30 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.1 At Booth 7015, the company will present four clinically studied botanical ingredients under the theme "Make the NXT Years the Best Years," and will introduce a Digestive Performance platform built around its Digexin ingredient.

What Is the "Know Your Go" Campaign?

According to NXT USA, the Know Your Go encourages consumers to become more aware of how food moves through their digestive tract and to track their own transit time using an educational activity the company calls the Blue Poo Test. NXT USA says the campaign gives supplement brands a way to start a conversation about digestive function, including topics such as food transit, gut barrier function, digestive signaling, and microbiome engagement.

NXT USA describes Digexin as supporting comfortable, predictable regularity in a low-dose format without added fiber or live microbes. The ingredient is a proprietary extraction of okra and ashwagandha, according to the company's earlier announcement for Vitafoods Asia 2026.2

What Is DGX-1?

NXT USA is also introducing DGX-1, which it positions as digestive support for people taking GLP-1 medications. Company representatives plan to present data from a 21-day, open-label study in which 12 participants were taking oral semaglutide, as well as additional human research on Digexin. Attendees can discuss the study designs and findings with the team at the booth.

“People are paying closer attention to how their digestion works, and brands need better ways to address the full picture,” stated Eric Anderson, managing director of NXT USA. “At SupplySide Global, we want to show how clinical research can turn that need into products with meaningful benefits and a clear story for consumers.”

What Research Is Behind the Digestive Performance Message?

The messaging follows research NXT USA announced on September 8, 2026.3 The company-commissioned 2026 ITC Insights Digestive Products Survey polled 400 U.S. supplement consumers age 18 and older in April 2026, including 334 who already use digestive-health products. According to NXT USA, 40% of respondents say they still struggle with digestive upset despite the availability of probiotic, prebiotic, fiber, and other microbiome-focused products. When asked which term best described their desired outcome, respondents ranked "digestive relief" first and "digestive performance" second.

NXT USA says the results point toward a shift in category messaging, from ingredient composition toward digestive function. The company maintains that microbiome composition remains relevant but is not the end benefit consumers associate with digestive health.

What Other Ingredients Will NXT USA Show?

Three more ingredients will be on display at the booth, according to the company:

  • Xeya Modern Shatavari: The ingredient is standardized to 15% shatavarins, and NXT USA says it has been studied in women at 50 mg to 100 mg daily. The company positions it as a small-dose botanical for hormonal health at different life stages.
  • BluNADBooster: NXT USA describes this plant-derived NAD+ ingredient as researched for two roles: supporting NAD+ levels through the body's own NAD+ pathways, and helping retain NAD+ by inhibiting the CD38 enzymes that deplete it.
  • TamaFlex: This blend of tamarind seed and turmeric is aimed at joint comfort, mobility, and physical function. The company reports that human studies have shown benefits within as few as five days.

NXT USA describes its approach to validation as a Four Pillars of Validation framework that combines patient-reported outcomes, physician assessments, biomarker analysis, and physical measurements.

Supplement brands, formulators, and media can arrange meetings with the company at Booth 7015 during the October 28–30 expo hall dates through its website.
