The Natural Products Association (NPA; Washington, DC) has promoted Dr. Cara Welch to vice president of scientific and regulatory affairs.
Welch will oversee quality assurance programs like Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification and NPA’s natural seal for personal care and home care products. She will work with FDA and other industry-related agencies to implement industry policies.
Welch received a BA in chemistry from Dordt College and an MS in chemistry from the University of Iowa.
