Nordic Naturals has introduced Daily Omega, a line of three products that the company says makes it easy for consumers to understand which type of omega-3 product they should take based on their needs.
“Consumers have a large variety of products to choose from when it comes to omega-3 fatty acids, and this can be quite confusing,” says Corinna Bellizzi, retail division sales manager. “Daily Omega makes this choice easy by offering three concentrated formulas (two for adults and one for children), where only one soft gel is required to support optimal health and wellness.”
The three SKUs provide simple and direct structure-function claims to help customers in choosing their product:
Daily Omega with vitamin D3: For a healthy heart, offering over 500 mg of the omega-3s EPA and DHA in just one lemon-flavored soft gel.
Daily DHA:For healthy brain and mood, offering 450 mg of DHA in just one strawberry-flavored soft gel.
Daily Omega Kids: For brain and visual function, offering 275 mg of the omega-3s EPA and DHA in just one chewable, strawberry-flavored soft gel.

Recent review states that pentadecanoic acid may support cellular stability for better longevity
June 25th 2024According to the paper’s author, Stephanie Venn-Watson, DVM, MPH, deficiency in pentadecanoic acid of ≤0.2% total circulating fatty acids increases the risk of ferroptosis, which a type of cell death cause by the peroxidation of fragile fatty acids in cell membranes that combines with iron thus increasing reactive oxygen species, and disabling mitochondria.
