The new plant is said to be one of the largest in China.
Lycored Ltd. (Beer Sheva, Israel) says its new Changzhou, China premix factory is fully approved. Said to be one of the largest premix factories in Asia, the operation will be dedicated to infant formula, beverage, baby food and other food products intended for the Asia Pacific region.
“We recently received our Halal MUI certificate for our new vitamins D3, E, and K1 formulations,” said Ilan Ron, Lycored vice president of sales and marketing. “These vitamins are made with a proprietary spray-drying process to ensure complete solubility of vitamins. They can be used in premixes for infant formula and baby food, as well as in dry blends for beverages. Our formulations are manufactured under the most stringent specifications in the market for delivering the safest premixes. We are proud to have received all necessary certifications and can ensure our customers will receive the highest quality blends possible.”
With its factory announcement, Lycored also named Jason Foo as manager of sales and business development for Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
