HealthTech BioActives (West Chester, OH), a supplier of natural flavonoid and vitamin B12 derivative ingredients, has introduced a new quercetin ingredient called QuerceClean. The company debuted the ingredient during October’s SupplySide West trade show in Las Vegas.
Designed to provide antioxidant and anti-inflammatory support, QuerceClean is “a solvent-free 95% quercetin sourced from the fava d’anta tree,” explained Arti Shah, the company’s head of global marketing, in a press release. “The innovative antioxidant and anti-inflammatory solution works to scavenge free radicals in the body and helps prevent resulting cell damage.” This benefits immune and respiratory health, for instance, the company says.
The ingredient is extracted using a clean, green process. During the SupplySide West trade show, the company showcased several gummy supplement prototypes featuring QuerceClean.
FDA and FTC issue more warning letters to copycat delta-8 THC food products
