Gadot Biochemical Industries (Haifa Bay, Israel) launched chewable zinc citrate, a convenient solution for consumers seeking immune support for high-stress situations and everyday maintenance. The chewable tablets combine 20 mg of multi-tasking zinc citrate, the form with the highest bioavailability, and vitamin C in a berry flavor.
“Chewables are becoming more popular due to pill fatigue and out of convenience,” said Ohad Cohen, CEO of Gadot Bioechemical Industries, in a press release. “Plus, consumers don’t need water. The active ingredients are released while chewing, which provides the added benefit of disinfecting the mouth area prior to swallowing.”
